Services
I offer paediatric speech pathology services in the Brand New Day Speech Pathology clinic in Drumcondra, Geelong. I provide assessment and therapy in the following areas:
Early Language Development
Helping young children build foundational communication skills through play-based learning and parent coaching.
Speech Sound Disorders
Assisting children in developing clear and confident speech to support their communication with peers, teachers, and family members.
Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC)
Supporting children who require additional tools to communicate, including low-tech and high-tech communication systems.
Language
Helping children strengthen their understanding and use of spoken language, including vocabulary, sentence structure, and comprehension, to support learning and social interactions.
Literacy
Supporting children in developing early literacy skills such as phonological awareness, reading comprehension, and written expression, which are essential for academic success.
Social Communication
Supporting children in developing the skills needed to form friendships, engage in conversations, and navigate social situations.

At Brand New Day Speech Pathology, therapy is tailored to meet the unique needs of each child. The first step in the process is assessment, which helps determine the most appropriate goals and strategies for therapy.
Assessment
An initial assessment is required at the commencement of therapy to gain a clear understanding of your child's strengths and areas for development. Assessments are typically conducted during your scheduled session time, with any necessary report writing completed outside of these sessions. If you have a recent assessment report from another clinician, a full assessment may not be required.
One-off assessments are also available if you are seeking guidance or recommendations without ongoing therapy. Please get in touch to discuss what will be needed for your child’s individual circumstances.
Therapy Structure
Therapy is typically delivered weekly, either on an ongoing basis or in blocks of 10 to 12 weeks, allowing for focused intervention and measurable progress.
For more information about assessments and therapy options, please feel free to reach out and discuss what would work best for your family.
